In September of 2017, Oil-Dri opened the Richard M. Jaffee Laboratory for Applied Microbiology at the company’s Innovation Center in Vernon Hills, Illinois. The new lab was named for and inspired by the Chairman’s pioneering and visionary spirit. The Biosafety Level 2 lab enables the examination of materials that will accelerate Oil-Dri’s microbial research and new product development.
